Labyrinth Journeys

2016
27 minutes

Throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, people are finding comfort and meaning in walking the labyrinth, an ancient symbol and structure which is more than 4,000 years old. Labyrinth Journeys visits labyrinths at a green roof, a school, a hospital, a cathedral, a garden, and two military medical facilities. Adults, teenagers, and children describe how they use this pathway as a tool for healing, rehabilitation, meditation, stress reduction, spiritual awareness, and playful exploration.
